A demo retail company with 2 million sales lines. The first model loads everything; the rebuilt one keeps only what the reports use. Both were loaded in Power BI Desktop on the same CSV files and measured on 4 November 2026.
The demo shows the two halves of an audit: making the model lighter, and proving the numbers did not move.
